Nigerian Christian Literature Awards 2017 - Winners unveiled!!

 The National president of Association of Nigeria Christian Authors and Publishers (ANCAPS), Wole Adedoyin, recently unveiled the 2017 winners of the Nigerian Christian Literature Award (NCLA). 

After a review of the 2017 entries by the judges, awards were conferred on four books for literary excellence.

 

  •  The Samuel Ajayi Crowther Writers Award for best Christian Fiction was awarded to Mrs. Mbadugha Chigozie Anuli for her short story collection titled Beyond the Trial.

  •   Miss Akalonu Onyinyechukwu won the Mathew Ashimolowo Christian Writers Award with her entry titled Not Easy but Gainful Waiting.

  • Udedike Chigozie emerged the 2017 NCLA Young Writer Award with his entry - Voice of a Suicide and other stories 

  •   Saint Jimoh won the John Bunyan Prize for the best essay.

    You will recall that  the short story collection Beyond the Trial which was awarded the Samuel Ajayi Crowther Prize for best Christian fiction is the inaugural feature book of CambaBooks. The Beyond the Trial Book Tour organized by Creative Writing News was promoted on this blog last year. 

    The 2018 edition of the Nigerian Christian Literature Award (NCLA) promises to be bigger and better.
